SAM Mouldings has beaten the likes of Siemens, Bosch and Renault to win the coveted European Quality Award 2002.

Owners of the Antrim MDF mouldings manufacturer Sam and Julienne McCrea were presented with the award, which recognises organisational performance and improvement, at the European Quality Awards in Barcelona on October 30.

SAM scored consistently high across the nine categories, including key performance results and people management, to win the overall prize.
