SCA’s forest products division operating profits declined by 22% to SKr534m during the third quarter.
SCA said lower operating profits for the pulp and solid wood operations were mainly attributable to negative effects from exchange rates.
Solid wood deliveries were down 7% in the quarter to 487,000m3, but they improved over the first nine months by 7% to 1.44 million m3.
SCA group’s net profits fell by 11% to SKr154bn during the quarter.
Forest products made up 16% of sales during the first nine months.
