The Newport-based timber company has given local schools £70 worth of timber each in its Make Wood Work Challenge, which encourages year 9-11 pupils to create something out of timber to improve their local environnment.
Winners will receive £50 each, plus £350 worth of design and technology equipment for their school.
Judging will take place in October at a special ceremony at Newport’s Civic Centre.
