Scottish Woodland Ltd, the first leading forest management and contracting business to achieve Forest Stewardship Council status, is celebrating a decade of supplying accredited products.
The company helped Grange Fencing to deliver the first UK-sourced FSC certified fencing panel to the launch of the UK Woodland Assurance Standard in 1999.
Scottish Woodland director Rob Shaw said: “Back in 1999 we knew we were doing the right thing, but we did not know at the time just how critical these accreditations would become. Certification has now become a market access requirement for most markets.”
