The results of a survey into flooring sealants and their appropriateness for different types of timber floor and application will be revealed by TRADA Technology next week.
The research was sponsored by the Department of Trade and Industry to investigate different seal formulations and give independent guidance on their suitability and performance.
The results will be presented at a one-day free seminar at Sykes Timber, Atherstone, Warwickshire on September 12 which will bring flooring systems and seals manufacturers face to face with contractors.
TRADA will also launch a best practice document – a reference on floor preparation and the selection, application and maintenance of lacquers.
