A self-build timber house under construction in Dorset which featured in Channel 4‘s Grand Designs series will be finished with Sikkens woodcare systems from Akzo Nobel.
The new house comprises three inter-linked structures finished in timber cladding. Internally, exposed trusses and wooden columns will be coated with a clear Sikkens woodstain, while externally the timber cladding will be coated with Cetol BL Opaque in a variety of colours to blend with the environment.
