Simpson Strong-Tie has appointed two product managers to strengthen its Quik Drive team and provide customers with an extensive support service the auto-feed screwing system.
Allen Coldrake and Fraser Pilkington join Quik Drive national sales manager Rob Philips, and demonstrators Richard Walsh and Dick Birchall, to provide distributors across the country with integrated training, sales and marketing support.
Both men have worked for Simpson across other areas of the business. Mr Coldrake, who joined the company as merchandiser for builders merchants, before being promoted to regional assistant sales manager, is now responsible for supporting Quik Drive customers across the south of the country. Mr Pilkington joined Simpson in 2001 as area sales manager for Scotland, selling connectors to the merchant industry, and will now be focusing on the north.
