The move, which took effect on June 12, has resulted in more than 40 staff working in a new 500m2 integrated environment dealing with the company’s £120m UK and Ireland sales.
“This is an inspirational moment – a world-class business facility that will allow us to respond even more quickly, efficiently and competitively to the UK’s growing timber needs, and in particular to the demand for quality planed structural timber and engineered wood for the roof truss and timber framed manufacturing sectors and the merchant market,” said sales director Jeremy English.
Jörgen Lindquist, president of Södra Wood, visited Cirencester for the opening of the new offices.
Södra acquired remaining shares in Crown just over a year ago and renamed the company Södra Wood Ltd at the start of 2017.
