Stora Enso is enhancing its product portfolio with a 19.46% stake in Finnish wood processor Arktos Group.
The deal will add a new type of glulam products to Stora Enso’s mix. It also incudes an agreement to co-operate on glulam technology and maintenance and spare parts projects.
In 2008 Stora Enso sold part of its Kemijärvi mill real estate to Arktos Group to start engineering works and glulam beam operations on the site.
