TECO, the testing and certification company for structural and non-structural wood panels, is providing testing, certification and auditing services for three Norbord-owned OSB plants in the US.
The Wisconsin-based company has also assumed the contract to provide similar services to Weyerhaeuser‘s Sutton OSB plant in West Virginia. TECO now certifies approximately 40% of the structural OSB panels produced in North America.
Weyerhaeuser has also awarded TECO the contract to service its five plywood plants in the southern US, bought from Willamette last year, and two in the western US.
TECO has testing facilities in Oregon and Louisiana and representatives in Japan, Brazil and the UK.
