Shares in New Zealand timber products company Tenon have risen following media reports that a second bidder is interested in buying the company.
Rubicon currently have a NZ$1.85/share offer on the table for Tenon, though an independent report labelled this unacceptable.
Norske Skog, which specialises in paper, has been named as a possible second bidder. The Norwegian company bought Fletcher Paper in 2000 for NZ$5bn.
