Three directors and an employee of an Australian wholesale timber and flooring company have been convicted of illegally exporting timber.

Three directors and an employee of an Australian wholesale timber and flooring company have been convicted of illegally exporting timber.

Moxon and Company directors Anthony Moxon, Andrew Wilson and Mark Affleck, and employee Joanne Mason admitted 74 charges of fraudulently exporting timber by using fake stamps to make Commonwealth documents between 2006 and 2009.

They were fined a total of A$858,000 and given suspended prison sentences, except for one director who will serve a minimum of eight months.
