Timber frame panel design software supplier RCS Construction Software Ltd has sold its 200th licence.
Surrey-based RCS, which has been distributing the Norwegian DDS HousePartner package for the past five years, reached the sales milestone following a deal with Alpha Timber Frame Ltd.
Alpha’s technical director John Figueira said the combination of the new CAD system from RCS and its own new design office in Malvern would ensure the firm could maximise its manufacturing capacity.
RCS business development manager Nigel Willis said: ‘We see considerable growth in the use of timber frame technology and we are continuing to develop our software to give our users higher productivity.’
RCS says it supplies more than 75% of the major timber frame companies. Its software and licence retails at £7,500.
