The “Wood you…work with us?” publication, launched at the 10th TTJ Awards on September 14, has been developed by 12 industry organisations and The Timber Trade Federation (TTF) as a taster of the job types available in the sector.
The leaflet, produced by the TTF’s education, training and careers committee, is aimed at careers advisers, young people and career-changers. It will be used at the committee’s career adviser information events, the next of which will be at Snows Timber in Glastonbury later this autumn.
TTF members will also use the leaflet to inform local schools and colleges and by trade associations contributing grants towards the publication’s production and distribution.
