An Estonian timber vessel has been freed from ice after it became stuck trying to help another ship on Sunday.
The timber vessel, which had earlier left Roomassaares port in Estonia, had sailed close to the ice-bound ship near Abruka Island in a bid to help it break free. But it too became caught in the thick ice.
A third vessel helped both ships find their way to thinner ice and they were back in open sea by the evening.
