Web-based engineered timber window manufacturer TimberWindows.com has seen its sales improve to record highs during one of the worst economic environments the UK has endured in recent decades.
Sales during the period September to November were up 58% year-on-year, while the company’s performance between January and November improved by 44%.
This has been underpinned by a growth in applications to become registered installers but, moreover, by the sales efforts of existing customers.
Duralife Windows Ltd recently invested £50,000 in a new showroom for TimberWindows.com products, including vertical sliders and French doors.
“We’ve had a surge of applicants from companies wanting to become Registered Installers, but the sales growth is simply down to our existing customers selling more,” said managing director Chris Brunsdon.
