TRADA is expecting a busy week at the Interbuild Timber Zone, the show area dedicated to timber products within the UK’s biggest building product exhibition.
TRADA has helped co-ordinate the Timber Zone with Interbuild organiser Emap for the past three years.
More than 500 delegates attended TRADA’s seminar programme in the Timber Zone last year and the organisation is expecting its stand and seminar theatre to be busy once again.
Seminar topics include Innovations in wood – wood modifications; Plywood CE marking and its implications; Contemporary wood buildings, the Code for Sustainable Homes explained; Building in oak frame; and A specifier’s guide to certified timber.
Timber Zone exhibitors will include timber frame manufacturers, treatment providers, distributors, trade organisations and manufacturers of timber windows, doors and panels.
Visitors to TRADA’s stand can pick up a voucher to claim 10% off membership – an offer only available at Interbuild. Its publications will also be discounted.
Interbuild takes place at Birmingham NEC from October 26-October 30. A full report will appear in a forthcoming issue of TTJ.
