Liverpool will shortly have a new Travelodge hotel, thanks in no small part to Eleco Timber Frame which has supplied its pre-engineered timber framing solution.
The timber frame was delivered to site in sections. “We used the timber framing system from Eleco Timber Frame to help keep the project timescale to a minimum,” said James Hoban, quantity surveyor of the main contractor Marshall (Building Contractors) Ltd.
“The individual sections were easy to manage once on site, simplifying site logistics and helping to speed up the construction process,” he added.
Stonedale Travelodge is due to open in November.
