The Wood Awards Gold trophy was presented to the Very Reverend Graham Smith, Dean of Norwich Cathedral, by Ian Hartley of Whitmore’s Timber at a special ceremony this month.
Whitmore’s Timber supplied the English oak for the prize-winning new visitors’ centre and also supplied the oak for the trophy – a replica of the cathedral spire.
