Timber Trade Federation (TTF) head of sustainability Anand Punja will be presenting at Forum Brazzaville, the Republic of Congo, to provide an update to the African trade on the implementation of the EU Timber Regulation and the challenges that EU and UK operators are facing.
The TTF has urged members who trade with any Congo Basin countries to contact Mr Punja to ensure key messages, including specific issues or examples, are communicated in the presentation.
It said the forum was a good opportunity for the TTF and the African timber trade to work together to meet EUTR obligations.
