TTJ webinar on Covid-19 crisis to air this Thursday

19 May 2020

TTJ’s first webinar Coming out of Covid-19: Timber industry adapting for the Future will be aired on Thursday May 21 at 3pm UK time.

The webinar will be a video discussion involving Timber Trade Federation CEO David Hopkins, Peter Nilsson, CEO of Bergs Timber, Luke Roberts, MD of Donaldson Timber Engineering, Paul Pennick, timber products manager of MKM Building Supplies and Stephen Powney, TTJ editor.

The panellists will be looking at impacts and action taken to date in the different sectors, how they are managing social distancing and what things they have learnt to adapt to the new business climate.

The question of supply and demand – both now and in the coming months – for the various timber product categories will also be discussed, while the panellists will also highlight what they see as the greatest issues the sector is facing.

The 45min webinar will be broadcast on Business Review Webinars – free registration is available now at Coming out of Covid-19: Timber industry adapting for the future.

“The next few months will be crucial in this next phase of the Covid-19 pandemic,” said TTJ editor Stephen Powney. “Communication is obviously key, so we want to encourage as many people as possible to tune in to the webinar and hear what companies are saying at the moment.”
