German exhibition organiser Clarion Survey GmbH has acquired Turkish company Survey Fuarcilik Danismanlik Ltd.
The move brings the Turkish ZOW show, Z-TEC (woodworking and furniture production machinery) and new event BUILDIST, all in Istanbul, under the ownership of Clarion Survey.
The takeover is another key step in the development of London-based Clarion Survey.
“We see huge potential for our trade fairs in Turkey and neighbouring countries,” said Simon Kimble, CEO of Clarion Events.
“Istanbul is an international hub and a key strategic foothold for future activities. The acquisition will enhance the international Clarion Events Ltd network and open up exciting new opportunities in the region.”
Some 80% of stands for the upcoming ZOW and Z-TEC shows in September are already booked.
