DWP’s chairman Andrew Bradford told woodland owners at the group’s AGM that the market for timber products had risen steadily for more than three years.
He warned that energy price hikes were a concern but gave an opportunity for progressive forest owners to work together to supply the emerging bioenergy market with wood chips and pellets.
