Finnish biofuels and energy company Vapo Oy is to build a new €3m log handling facility for its timber subsidiary.
The development at Vapo Timber Oy’s Nurmes sawmill will increase handling capacity and reduce the number of employees needed. Staff will be relocated, with no layoffs.
