Vietnam’s government and four international partners have agreed to launch the Trust Fund for Forests.
The fund, which runs from 2004-2007, has been established with the aim of improving official development assistance and for carrying out forestry projects.
The US$10-12m initial funding is non-refundable aid from Holland, Finland, Sweden and Switzerland.
