ATRADA Technology managed project to develop a practical waste management information resource has been given a £330,474 kick start.
The Timber Industry Environmental Trust project has been bankrolled by an environment fund set up by Biffa Waste Services, with a £33,047 contribution from TRADA.
The scheme will help users and specifiers in the industry re-use timber in the waste stream and implement practical waste management through a central information resource. A website will be set up and the scheme will be promoted via reports, exhibitions and conferences.
