In a bid to encourage Scots and visitors back to the counryside after last year’s foot and mouth outbreak, the Environment and Rural Development Minister Ross Finnie has launched the summer programme of Treefest Scotland 2002.
‘What’s On’ leaflets give details of more than 700 events being held throughout Scotland this year including the International Forest Fest at Lockerbie in Scotland.
