West Fraser Timber Co Ltd’s profits slipped last year to C$43.1m from C$138m in 2002.
Its fourth quarter earnings were C$34.3m, down slightly from C$35.6m a year earlier, while sales fell to C$361.4m from C$404.8m.
The company blamed its performance on a weak US dollar and softwood lumber duties.
