The Western Log Group (WLG), a supplier of timber products to the playground and garden market, is the first UK company to be appointed by CSI Wood Protection Ltd of America to introduce ACQ wood preservative to the British market.
The product, which is chrome and arsenic free and is seen as a strong alternative to CCA preservatives, has been used worldwide for more than 25 years.
David Harling of CSI said South Wales-based WLG was ideally placed to head the introduction of ACQ preservative into the UK’s playground and garden market.
