The WISA brand is set to be adopted by Russian plywood company Chudova and Estonian mill Otapaa.
Both companies are associates of UPM-Kymmene, which introduced the new brand name for timber and processed products, and they will produce 60,000m³ and 18,500m³ respectively.
The WISA branding defines products into clear groups and the company says it will help customers find the right product for each particular purpose.
Schauman Wood was the first company within UPM-Kymmene’s panel products business to use the brand and it is now being rolled out to United Sawmills‘ range of timber products and processed goods.
