Wood. for good’s regional “Building Sustainably with Timber” roadshow is to kick-off in Harrogate on June 7.
The roadshow is designed to offer architects, engineers and specifiers from housing associations and local authorities information on timber topics related to climate change, modern methods of construction and sustainable building.
Delegates will hear case studies of how construction professionals have used wood in their projects.
Workshops will look at how to specify certified timber, advances in wood windows, wood preservation and decoration and timber frame housing.
After the first event at the Great Yorkshire Showground Pavilions, the roadshow will travel the country.
