Chris Wood, who for many years worked for Mumford & Wood Ltd, now part of the Performance Timber Products Group, has rejoined the group as group sales director. He will work closely with Simon Howard, managing director of Mumford & Wood, and will oversee the sales and marketing strategy.
John Mumford of Fernwater Consultants has also returned to the business in a consultancy role and is using his technical expertise to carry out several projects at Mumford & Wood.
Mr Wood left Mumford & Wood to complete a number of projects and also to set up Iconic Internal Doors with John Mumford.
The Performance Timber Products Group was established in 2006 and in four years has grown annual turnover from £6m to almost £25m. The group currently includes Mumford & Wood, TimberWindows.com, The English Glasshouse, Dale Windows, John Porter Doors Ltd, and Iconic Internal Doors Ltd.
