To every aspect of the 1950s bungalow-style property are large feature wood windows, designed to complement three originals to the side, which have also been renovated and restored.
Sliding, folding doors, a new addition to Mumford & Wood’s Contemporary range, occupy the front elevation, opening across the full width of the lounge.
“There were no planning objections and, although a number of design options were amended, the windows were never an issue,” said the homeowners.
The windows and doors were made to order and have double-glazed argon filled units, and are fully factory finished.
Made from laminated larch, sourced from sustainable forests, windows in the project were factory painted using a wide range of RAL colours.
