The Olympic Delivery Authority has recently stated its commitment to ensuring that all of the wood used during the construction of the games is 100% sustainable and carries certification, with six timber firms given the opportunity to put forward the case for the use of wood in the construction of the games during a recent consultation day.

Scheduled to take place on June 4, the CIEF and CIC joint workshop will address the issues arising from these, as well as a host of other topics related to the building sector and its relationship with the 2012 Olympic Games.
