The UK’s first centre dedicated to research and training in innovative housing systems, including timber frame, opens on April 2.
The Zethus Housing Innovation Centre in Dartford features a show village of eight full-scale houses, six of them using timber frame or other timber-based construction.
Half-day preview seminars on Zethus ‘club membership’ are run until March. These will look at timber, concrete and steel systems and cladding technology and advise on partnering with manufacturers.
