We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join the Department’s Sawmill team based in St. Johns to oversee our production operations. You will be responsible for processing and manufacturing whilst maintaining a smooth and effi cient process by monitoring employees and organising the workfl ow.

The supervisor is an integral part of the manufacturing process. You should have experience in processing and production with excellent supervision or management skills and be able to comprehend the complexity of operations. You will aim to optimise daily production activities whilst minimising production costs.

The goal is to ensure that the production process will deliver products of maximum quality in a profi table manner. That way our business can augment customer satisfaction and achieve sustainable growth.

You will have the chance to join an established Island-based Sawmill in a key leadership role with an opportunity to implement your knowledge and understanding to improve effi ciencies and ensure KPI’s are met in a business that strives to provide the best possible service to its customers.

You will ideally have experience within a manufacturing and production industry ideally in a similar role with some knowledge of sawmill operations. As Sawmill Production Supervisor, you will be leading a team of production staff, you will be self-motivated, have good decision making skills, be able to take control of the production lines and take responsibility for the results of production and quality. Your ability to delegate tasks, problem solve effectively and work well under pressure are all vital elements of this role.
