Three more companies have been added to the British Woodworking Federation‘s (BWF) growing Fire Door Accreditation Scheme.

BWF member Brian Fell (Leven) is now a full member of the Certifire Fire Door & Doorset Scheme, certificated to make fire door frames, glass openings and glazed apertures. The company says it can provide proof of certification to specifiers, many of which are specifying complete doorsets and need assurances that components will meet building regulations.

Carver (Wolverhampton) Ltd is certificated to make fire door glazed apertures at its new door machining centre. The company is primarily a timber and builders merchant but recently expanded into door machining by opening a joinery centre at its Littles Lane site.

Preston Plywood, part of BWF-member Manchester Panel Products, has successfully put a number of counter staff through BWF training and qualifies as an Approved Fire Door Centre.
