The Republic of Ireland’s National Council for Forest Research and Development (COFORD), the Irish Agriculture and Food Development Authority (Teagasc) and Sustainable Energy Ireland are co-hosting a bioenergy conference on June 19.
Held at the Teagasc Mellow Centre in Athenry, Co Galway, Bioenergy 2008 will include presentations on subjects including developing local firewood markets, chopped wood gasification boilers, bioenergy district heating solutions and the availability of financial support.
The keynote address will be given by Tony Killeen, minister of state, forestry and fisheries.
