Timber frame industry to hold innovation showcase
10 September 2012The UK Timber Frame Association (UKTFA) has teamed up with the NHBC and Zero Carbon Hub to hold an Innovation Showcase feauring designer Wayne Hemingway.
The October 10 event at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre, Swindon is aimed at architects, contractors and engineers, focusing on insulation, acoustics, fire safety and IT.
"Our members have proven solutions that meet the anticipated 2016 standards," said the UKTFA's Andrew Carpenter.
"This Innovation Showcase will be an opportunity to share these with delegates."
Rick Burgess from PRP Architects and James Pickard of Cartwright Pickard Architects are among speakers at the event.
