MDF mouldings manufacturer W Howard Ltd has gained Certifire membership, underlining the benefits offered to merchants stocking its Primer Mould range according to the firm.
Membership came after an independent audit of the W Howard, and extends to all linings and casings sold under the Primer Mould name.
Certifire is a voluntary certification scheme of construction products with fire performance above and beyond the requirements for CE marking.
“It means the hundreds of merchants we serve have the confidence they are supplying the building industry with quality certified door linings and casings,” said operations director Graham Williams.
Mr Williams added that Certifire membership is “a direct result of the new product development strategy we’ve formed”, and an indicator of the company’s commitment to become the industry’s “preferred partner for MDF profiles”.
