BBC Ground Force presenter Charlie Dimmock is backing the Working with Wood W6 exhibition’s tree-planting partnership with the Woodland Trust.
Ms Dimmock voiced her support for the project which will see W6 sponsor new planting linked to visitor numbers at the NEC event on October 8-11.
She said: “This is a great partnership as it is raising funds for the Woodland Trust to help create new woodland. This not only benefits the UK’s native wildlife but also creates a valuable space for the public as well as providing sustainable wood.”
W6 funding will enable the trust to plant 4,000 trees, helping to create nearly six acres of new woodland.
