Sports broadcaster Rob Notham will host the 30th anniversary TTJ Awards 2026 at the London Marriott Grosvenor Square on September 18.

Rob has interviewed many of the greats during his career – including Pele, David Beckham and Tiger Woods. He’s had his run-ins with Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp and tempted fate with golfer Colin Montgomerie.

He’ll be familiar with listeners of Five Live radio and has reported from World Cups, Wimbledon, the Olympics and major golfing championships.

Rob has also trained many leading sportspeople to become TV presenters, and is a popular speaker at events, with anecdotes from the worlds of sport and broadcasting.

The lunchtime TTJ Awards covers the whole breadth of timber industries – including sawmilling, importing, distribution, merchanting and manufacturing, with awards voted categories covering the softwood, hardwood, panel products, structural timber systems, joinery product and timber garden products sectors.

Expert judges preside over separate judged categories, including career development, marketing, innovation, timber merchanting development and environmental achievement.

Headline sponsor is panel products manufacturer MEDITE SMARTPLY, which is celebrating the 50th anniversary of MEDITE in Europe, while Timber Development UK is the long-running sponsor of the Gold Award – the Timber Trader of the Year Award.

Leading machinery manufacturer SCM Group (UK) Ltd manufactured the trophies with wood supplied by English Woodlands Timber.
