The company recently made changes to its distribution in the UK, moving to a small network of dealers, supported by UK and Italy-based technical and sales staff.
As part of the changes Baumann has developed a personalised customer training programme with a mix of classroom and structured practical training, in the UK and at the Baumann head office in Italy.
"We have been able to develop individual support programmes for all our customers. Our training programmes encompass a holistic approach to the whole life of the side loader range," said Andrew Burton of Baumann UK.
The training is co-ordinated by UK technical manager John Gillan. It includes interaction with the main production line at the Baumann factory in Cavaion, Italy, working alongside Baumann engineers stripping, refurbishing and building new units.
Baumann is the world’s largest manufacturer of diesel, LPG and electric sideloaders, ranging from 3-50 tonne capacity and sells to 76 countries.
