Associated British Ports has appointed Stephen Walsh as general counsel. He will be responsible for the provision of legal support for the group.
Mr Walsh previously worked for British Airways plc, where he was legal director and, prior to that, head legal adviser. He was involved in most of British Airways’ corporate transactions over the past 10 years, managed a department of 16 lawyers, and set up a panel of external law firms to carry out all the company’s legal work.
