Arch Timber Protection’s UK sales team rode 130 miles in a charity coast-to-coast cycle marathon.

The two-day journey from Cleator Moor in Cumbria to Tynemouth raised £4,200 for the Timber Trades’ Benevolent Society and Martin House Children’s Hospice.

The event was organised by Arch’s northern England sales manager, Chris Smith, who is a keen mountain biker, and the team of six was supported by members of Arch’s marketing services department.

Arch UK & Ireland sales manager Mark Pescod said: “We had all been working hard to prepare ourselves both physically and mentally for the rigours of the C2C, and this training has truly paid off.”
