Finnforest is providing merchants with a new way to promote its decking balustrade kits via stand-alone mini display stands.
Packaged in a compact box, the balustrade kits comprise a profiled and pre-drilled base rail and handrail, finished baluster panels and all necessary fixings.
“The emphasis is on up-selling,” said Simon Messam, sales manager for Finnforest UK. “When faced with a customer who is planning a new decking installation, the balustrade kits provide the perfect opportunity to suggest the benefits an addition such as this can have, both for the value of the project and the bottom line.
“The advantage of the kits is that they are compact, with everything needed in one pack, so a purchase like this is unlikely to take up too much room in a van,” he added. “When it comes to installation the process is also quicker than using more conventional individual balustrade components.
“The kits are all about making life easier for our customers’ customer. If they can buy everything needed to construct a professional decking accessory in one handy pack, significant time can be saved at the branch. What’s more, the display units make it even easier for merchants’ customers to really engage in the product and to understand its benefits.”
