BeA Fastening Systems has secured a deal to supply Bradford-based timber component manufacturer Ramsey Timber Group.
Ramsey turned to BeA in order to find a reliable supplier of modular fastening tools as part of its bed manufacturing process.
The tools were required to staple inch-wide webbing to wooden bed slats to a tight production schedule.
Ramsey produces enough timber for the construction of more than 1,000 units every year, producing to any individual specification. The company makes more than 1,900 webbed, drilled and shrink-wrapped bed slat sets every day.
Ramsey, now one of the UK’s leading component suppliers to the bed and furniture industries, was established in 1890 as a canal boat and barge manufacturer.
