Biesse Group UK is investing to ensure that its large, modern showroom in Daventry is set up permanently with a representative selection of machinery for customer demonstrations.

‘This will overcome the traditional scenario where UK suppliers’ showrooms are regularly emptied as machines are sold,’ said Biesse Group UK sales and marketing manager Kevin Lovell. ‘Individual machines will be rotated on a regular basis, but we will always have a showcase of technology covering all key areas of production that we supply.

‘We are also investing in dedicated showroom staff, so that expert demonstrations can be offered to customers at any time.’

The service will be premiered at the first of a series of Tech Weeks – a concept developed by Biesse to provide visitors with greater technical information compared with traditional open house events, where the emphasis is purely on sales.

Machinery being demonstrated at the first event, which takes place from June 19-23, includes a Rover 27 CNC machining centre with the new versatile FT configuration, the Biesse Millennium automatic edgebander for shaped panels, a Techno throughfeed boring line and a Selco EB120 beam saw.
