Sanding machinery supplier Boere UK has reported a boom in heavy joinery work due to an expanding construction sector.
Geoff Pitcher, sales manager of Ripponden-based Boere UK, said: “We are installing a large number of machines for the calibration and finishing of items like fire-rated doors.”
He said such installations involve Boere sanders having to cope with heavy components fed constantly in multiple shifts, as well as finishing expensive and delicate veneers.
