The Galgate-based company bought the machine through RJ Woodworking Machinery.

The unit will be used in the manufacture of a range of products, including windows, stairs, doors and general joinery.

Other machines in the workshop include an SI350n sliding table panel saw, S630e thicknesser, F410n planer thicknesser, Sandya 3-RCS wide-belt sander, BV0 morticer, RVP200 band re-saw and three spindle moulders – two T130N machines and a T130 Class.

Corless has a policy of updating its machines on a two- or three-year basis.
